THE STAR & GARTER - TASMAN TEAM
The Star & Garter Wheelers Club, based in Richmond, Tasman has seen a strong growth in membership over recent years and now numbers 220 riders.
When Paul Odlin and Robin Reid moved to the area in 2007, the radical idea to set up club based structured teams was introduced resulting in a teams launch at Seifrieds Estate on 13/12/07.
The teams embrace a squad of 40 of the clubs riders, 12 of the Tasman area's top men, 5 top womens riders, 12 riders as a reserve team, plus a junior development team on 11 riders.

Leading the Star & Garter - Tasman team are Robin Reid and Paul Odlin:
Robin represented New Zealand in the road race at the Athens Olympic Games and also the road race at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games, he has won the Tour of Wellington (2002), the Tour of Tahiti (2003), National Time Trial Champion (2005), and placed second in the 08 Tour of Wellington
Paul Odlin, the 2007 Benchmark 8 overall series winner, 4th in the Oceania Time Trial and 3rd in the Oceania Road Race, silver medalist National Elite Time Trial 08, stage winner Tour de Vineyards and Tour of Wellington 08.
